The way UTSC works is by having a collection of programs you apply to then you choose your major at the end of first year. this semester with Ravi (haven't gotten my mark back yet). they have asip for HR/media studies/history/etc programs, I think asip is worth more if you're in these programs because it's harder to get jobs in these fields I would say both.
